Hobbies & Interests

I believe that maintaining a healthy work/life balance is essential not only for reducing stress and enjoying a well-rounded life but also for enhancing workplace performance. In my free time, you can usually find me boating, snowboarding, traveling, paintballing, running, practicing photography, or at the target range. Feel free to browse below for some pictures!

Travel

II am constantly eager to explore new travel destinations and immerse myself in different cultures and environments. To date, I have visited:
  • 27 States (including Washington, D.C.)
  • 18 Countries (including Vatican City)

Running

It had been several years since I last ran, but I decided to get back into it in June 2018. I joined the Mikkeller Run Club in Los Angeles and trained with them for the LA Marathon in 2019. Since then, I have continued running with the group and now participate in events such as the Santa Monica Classic, Pasadena 5K & Half Marathon, LA Big 5K, and the LA Marathon!

Photography

In my free time and during my travels, I enjoy honing my photography skills with my Nikon D3300. While I wouldn't consider myself the most artistic photographer, I find great joy in capturing moments and experimenting with the settings of a DSLR.

Range Time

I make it a point to squeeze in some range time whenever my schedule allows. Additionally, I am an enthusiastic collector of antiques and Curio & Relic (C&R) firearms. Collecting, cleaning, and maintaining vintage firearms—some of which are over a century old—is an enjoyable hobby that provides a hands-on way to explore world military history. While my primary focus is on American historical arms, I also have pieces that originated from regions such as the Ottoman Empire.
